I Am Still Here

Skid Row resident in Los Angeles downtown

Sorry, this is not about the movie starred by Joaquin Phoenix; but, this collection of narratives and pictures attempts to show and tell about how diverse the homeless population is and about their struggle (and success) to get out of “the situation.”

This project was started in 2009 while I lived in Pasadena, CA and sponsored by Trade and Row, Inc., a 501(c) non-profit company that focuses social awareness through art. The organization is led by two California Institute of the Arts graduates Karin Pleasant and Aldo Puicon of Los Angeles, CA.

Although I have moved to a new city on the other side of the coast, I will continue to develop and add more stories to this project. Should you be interested to partner with me or just be involved with this project, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Thank you very much.
